Green algae is the second most common type of algae. It tends to be more common in northern areas of the U.S. It’s a common nuisance during pool re-openings after the pool has been closed in the winter months.
Green algae is usually a symptom of long periods of low sanitizer. It’s a darker green than its counterpart yellow/mustard algae. Green algae blooms tend to be denser, and grow through out the pool.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]
Green Algae Recommendations
We recommend using Green Treat® to get rid of the green algae bloom. One bottle of Green Treat® will treat 20,000 gallons. Simply follow the direction and super-chlorinate to wipe the green algae out.
To prevent green algae from coming back in the future, consider using No Mor Problems® and stay on top of your sanitizer. Just squirt in a few ounces every time you add chlorine and you’re guaranteed to not get algae ever again.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″]
